The Finisher’s Grace: From Blog to Book Publisher—A Five-Year Journey of Faith

In 2020, I started The Voyage to Her as a personal blog—a space to document my journey of womanhood and faith. What began as reflections on my walk with God soon became a ministry of encouragement, inspiring women to pray boldly and navigate life’s challenges with faith.

But I never imagined where this journey would lead.

Over the years, I wrote through pain I thought would break me. I wrote through false intimacy with imposters. I wrote through grief, disappointment, and uncertainty. Yet, I kept writing. Through transitions, through loss, through moments where giving up seemed easier, I held on. And by the strength of the Lord, I stand here today—not just as a writer, but as a published author.

In 2025, I’m walking into a new chapter as a book publisher. My devotional, Pray Differently, is more than a book—it’s a testimony of perseverance, prayer, and purpose.

Rejection didn’t stop me. Disappointment didn’t stop me. Not even the pain of losing my oldest brother—my first publisher—could make me quit. Every challenge tried to silence me, but my purpose was louder.

Maybe you’ve been there—facing setbacks, questioning if what you’re building is worth the struggle. Maybe you’re in that place now, where finishing feels impossible. If that’s you, let me remind you: Keep going. What God has called you to do is bigger than the obstacles in your way.
